Aqua Land - Osterode
Guaranteed fun for kids, with the pure white water rush on the 85 meter water slide, while the little ones are sure of fun in the baby water garden. And for those who dare can jump from the three and five meter diving boards. There is a spacious sauna area, with eight saunas, and a relaxing quiet room.
Known as the Knights House, due to the large wooden figure on the corner post, lovingly called "Rollberg," was built between 1650-1660, and differs from other town houses with its graphically varied framework and its elaborate carvings. Since 1936, it is used as a museum for Osterode am Harz.
Harz Grain Warehouse
Since the cultivation of cereals was not possible in the Upper Harz Mountains, the food supply for the population and the mining community had to be backed up. For this reason, the Osterode Harz Grain Warehouse was built in 1719 to 1722. Since 1989, the Baroque building is used as the Town Hall.
