Klopstockhaus Museum

The birth house of the poet Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock was built around 1560. Since 1899, the Klopstock House has presented a biographical / literary historical museum into the poet's life and work. His epic creation ("The Messiah") and his lyrical work (odes, hymns, elegies, and songs) mark a turning point in the history of German poetry.
